Classes and Workshops

Classes are 1 hour long and courses run in term time.

I like to have a maximum of 8 children per class to allow the children time to share and feel comfortable in the space.

At the end of a term, we invite the parents and carers to participate in the last lesson in order for the children to demonstrate what they have learnt and to teach you a few practices and techniques that you can all do together at home.

Courses and class structure

Classes are currently split into age groups
Key stage 1 (KS1) aged 5 — 7
Key stage 2 (KS2) aged 8 — 11
12+ classes

I also run parent/child workshops to teach new or strengthen existing practices. No previous experience is required and it is an opportunity for you, as parents new to mindfulness, to bring practice into your daily family life. Having done sessions with my own children, I find this a wonderfully bonding experience.

Home sessions

I am happy to run groups hosted in your own home, space permitting. These can be one-off workshops for parent and child groups or a course for a group of up to 8 children. Please contact me to discuss.

I will be running a free introduction to mindfulness workshops on 25th April, 4 — 5pm at The Cartlodge, Horam Manor Farm.

Next KS1 course starts w/c 4th June and will run for 7 weeks.

A series of 1 hour taster sessions will run throughout April and May for KS1 and KS2 children.

Workshop Booking

Come and enjoy a 2-hour ‘Beauty in nature’ mindfulness workshop for children and their grownups in the glorious Sussex countryside.

We learn how breathing techniques can help calm and ground us. Draw on the beautiful surroundings to play games and create artwork that brings us into present moment awareness and connects us with nature. We listen to stories that illustrate what mindfulness is all about and relax to guided meditations to nurture calm and inner peace.

Healthy halfway snacks will be provided either outside or in the yurt, weather depending.

The workshop is suitable for 4 – 7 year olds.

Workshop will be held at The Well Being Centre, Glynleigh Farm, Hailsham Road, Stone Cross, Pevensey, BN24 5BS, 10am-12pm, Saturday 18 August.

Please note your details will only be used for the workshop.
